OrthoKit grows thanks to the community of developers, clinicians, and institutions that inspire its evolution. Over the years, we have brought our vision to some of the places where the most influential software ideas are born. This is a look at the events and spaces that have shaped our history.
California — Apple Park & WWDC 2025
In June 2025, we had the opportunity to attend WWDC in Cupertino, an exclusive event to which Apple invites only a select number of developers from around the world. Being there, at the heart of the campus, surrounded by engineers and groundbreaking technologies, was an experience that directly influenced OrthoKit.
The visit to Apple Park allowed us to contrast our design decisions with the philosophy Apple imprints on its products. The technical sessions and access to internal teams provided concrete ideas that materialized in OrthoKit 2026: the DICOM viewer with 3D reconstruction, CephBuilder to create custom cephalometrics, the complete redesign towards Liquid Glass, and deep improvements in process concurrency that increased the app’s reliability.
During the Liquid Glass presentation at Apple Park, OrthoKit was featured on the internal campus screens as an example of professional software built on advanced Apple technologies. It was a key moment that reinforced our presence in the ecosystem and our closeness to Cupertino.
Tokyo — try! Swift Tokyo 2025
In April 2025, OrthoKit was present at try! Swift Tokyo, the largest independent Swift conference on the planet. There we shared space with some of the developers who push the limits of the language and Apple’s APIs the most.
Tokyo offered more than just a conference: an environment where software development is experienced with a unique sensibility. The conversations, workshops, and close contact with the international community were key to refining OrthoKit’s internal architecture and improving the user experience.
NSSpain — Logroño, September 2024 and 2025
In September 2024 and again in September 2025, OrthoKit was present at NSSpain, one of the reference events for Apple developers in Europe. Each edition feels like a gathering of professionals who love building flawless native software.
The NSSpain community brings a European perspective on design and quality standards. It is a meeting point where the exchange of ideas helps refine decisions and explore new approaches.
